Nimba Women Empowerment Center Project

Time Line and History

Fourteen years of civil war in Liberia brought about utter destruction blended with a total breakdown of law and order. Women, men, and children were displaced.

Over 200,000 Liberian citizens lost their lives.
Institutions such as schools, healthcare centers, and government infrastructures were burned to the ground.

Women and children were left in vulnerable situations.

We the Liberians in diaspora, across the United States of America understand the need for rebuilding ravaged infrastructures in Liberia.
